Will those Methodist ladies be funding a cheesy ad for the Cairo subway? (hat tip David)

Perhaps someone can forward this to Judge Collyer, who demanded to know from our lawyer Robert Muise what jihad had to do with the war on Israel during the prohibition hearing on our anti-jihad ads.

Egypt’s foremost Muslim
Brotherhood official called on the Arab world Thursday to replace
negotiations with Israel with “holy Jihad,” claiming that if Jews are
allowed to pray on the Temple Mount they will destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque
and supplant it with the third temple.

Mohammed Badie, Supreme Guide of the Muslim
Brotherhood, declared in a public message published by Egyptian daily
Al-Ahram that “the Zionists only understand force,” and that Arabs
cannot hope to achieve justice from the Jews “through the corridors of
the United Nations or through negotiations.”

‘Zionists only understand the
language of force and will not relent without duress,’ Badie continued.
‘This will only happen through holy Jihad, high sacrifices and all forms
of resistance’

Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi was the
Muslim Brotherhood’s presidential candidate, but he resigned all
official positions in the movement upon taking office. He has said that
his government would uphold the Camp David peace accords with Israel,
and recently named a new ambassador to Israel.

“The time has come for the Islamic nation to
unite around one man for the sake of Jerusalem and Palestine,” Badie
said. “The Jews have dominated the land, spread corruption on earth,
spilled the blood of believers and in their actions profaned holy
places, including their own.”

“Zionists only understand the language of
force and will not relent without duress,” Badie continued. “This will
only happen through holy Jihad, high sacrifices and all forms of
resistance. The day they realize we will march this path and raise the
banner of Jihad for the sake of God, is the day they will relent and
stop their tyranny.”

Badie, 69, has headed the Muslim Brotherhood
in Egypt since 2010, and before that served on its governing council for
more than a decade. Trained in veterinary medicine and an academic by
profession, he served time in jail for political activity as a young man
but was pardoned by president Anwar Sadat.

Advisor To Hamas Government In
Gaza: Israel Must Disappear

In an October 8, 2012 article in the Hamas newspaper
Al-Risala, Kana'an 'Obeid, an advisor
to the Hamas government in Gaza, urged this movement to refrain from emulating
the PLO in making political concessions and adopting pragmatist policies.
Instead, he called upon Hamas to declare that it was created to eliminate the
state of Israel.

The following are
excerpts from the article:

Kana'an 'Obeid

"The deterioration of the
Palestinian cause occurred in a series of steps. Initially, there were slogans such
as 'eliminating Israel' or 'bon appétit, oh fish in the sea!', and the PLO
slogan, 'we will not relinquish one single grain of sand.' Then there was the consent
to [UN Security Council] Resolution 242, the recognition of Israel, and the
freezing of the caduque PLO Charter.
After that, Abu Mazen [Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud 'Abbas] declared
that Israel is here to stay…"

Hassan Asfour: "The Palestinian entity embodied by the PA constitutes
an historic achievement for the Palestinian people.

"In addition, since the
establishment of the Palestinian National Authority, the Palestinian struggle
has taken on a new dimension. Suffice to mention that the number of Israelis
killed from the establishment of the PA until the killing of the leader Yasser
Arafat was many times greater than in the previous period."

Marwan Abu Ras: "The Jews are behind each and every catastrophe on
the face of the Earth. This is not open to debate. This is not a temporal
thing, but goes back to days of yore. They concocted so many conspiracies and
betrayed rulers and nations so many times that the people harbor hatred towards
them."

The leader of the Lebanese
terrorist group Hezbollah on Thursday claimed responsibility for
launching a drone aircraft that was shot down over Israel earlier this
week, saying the UAV had been assembled by Hezbollah men using parts
provided by Iran. The rare admission by Hassan Nasrallah raises regional
tensions at a sensitive time when the group’s backers, Syria and Iran,
are under pressure.

Nasrallah said the drone was named the Ayoub,
honoring both an Islamic prophet (of patience) and a “martyr” by the
name of Hussein Ayoub.

Several hours earlier, Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu pointed a finger at Hezbollah. ”We’re determined to defend
our land, air, and maritime borders, just as when we foiled Hezbollah’s
attempt to send a UAV into Israel,” Netanyahu said during a tour of the
border with Egypt.

On Tuesday, Israeli Defense Ministry official Amos Gilad said the
UAV’s incursion into Israeli airspace was a failed mission. Speaking to
Israel Radio, Gilad, a top aide to Defense Minister Ehud Barak, said
that the drone had failed to gather any intelligence or damage Israel’s
air defense superiority.

The UAV was identified from a distance, and
the IAF waited until it was flying over open space before it neutralized
it, he added.

The UAV was shot down over the Yatir Forest in
the northern Negev after it entered Israel from the skies over Gaza.
Officials believe it was launched from Lebanon and flew south over the
Mediterranean before turning inland over Gaza.

On Sunday, a former commander of Israel’s
drone unit said that the foreign UAV couldn’t have filmed anything that
wasn’t already available on Google Earth, despite claims to the contrary
by Iran.
