Some Questions To Our Liberal Friends

AFDI Geller Fellow Nonie Darwish challenges the left on their love of the most brutal and ideology on the face of the earth:

“Some Questions To My Liberal Friends,” Nonie Darwish, September 23, 2016:

After a weekend of Islamic terror with knifes and pressure cookers in addition to the civil unrest in Charlotte, the left seems to fear comments on skittles and ‘law and order’ talk more than terror and violent civil unrest.

You see no conflict in bringing in hundreds of thousands of Muslim refugees at a time when America’s national security is challenged daily by Islamic terrorism. The only issues you seem openly verbalize and seem to be alarmed by are fellow Americans and leaders who want to protect the country from Islamic jihad, sharia and those who disrupt the peace on American streets.

As someone who lived under Islam for 30 years, I have no interest but to bring the truth about what Islam and sharia will do to a society. Islamic laws and values are in direct opposition to our form of government, civil liberties, privacy and freedom of speech.

This is how the most prominent Islamic authority of the 20th century, Abul A’la Maududi, described the Islamic State: “Islamic State is the very antithesis of secular Western democracy … In such a state no one can regard any field of his affairs as personal and private. Considered from this aspect the Islamic state bears a kind of resemblance to the Fascist and Communist states”.

He added: “Islam is a revolutionary faith that comes to destroy any government made by man…the goal of Islam is to rule the entire world and submit all of mankind to the faith of Islam. Any nation or power in this world that tries to get in the way of that goal, Islam will fight and destroy.” http://www.azquotes.com/quote/1034764

And now I have a few questions to liberals: Do such statements from Muslim leaders scare you? Do the words written in the notebook of the terrorists Ahmad Rahami sound threatening to your sense of security and life of your loved ones? If not, why not? As a former Muslim woman who lived under Sharia I am truly curious and mean no disrespect, but I would like to hear a sincere answer from a liberal to these questions and more below:

Liberals claim they love their ‘civil liberties’ and ‘privacy’ and are against ‘heavy handed’ police tactics and ‘government intrusion’ and my question is: At what point will Islamic terrorism threaten liberals enough to openly speak against it?

Islam challenges all governments in the Middle East that are not controlled by sharia and that is why there are constant revolutions and Arab Springs. I would like to know why Liberals seem to think that the US government is immune to the Islamic challenge to all non-Muslim governments? Do Liberals see, what many see, that the periodic Islamic acts of terror against American citizens as early signs of challenging and rebelling against the US government?

Are you more offended by the police, the skittle metaphor and Trump’s ‘law and order’ speeches more than bombs exploding in American faces and knives carving into American shoppers in a mall? When will the left openly start speaking about the ideology behind Islamic terrorism?

Do you think if the Democratic Party continues to underestimate the threat of Islam it will continue winning elections?

Do you really believe that Islam is the under dog and that US freedoms, liberties and constitution could survive under Islam?

Do you think that eventually Islam as a doctrine will reform and become more in tune with you’re progressive doctrine?

I do not think so to the above three questions. My prediction is that it is not Islam that will reform, but it is the progressive leftist doctrine that will not survive Islam.
